Draft measures against floods in the basin of a small watercourse Mlýnka
Řeháková, Adéla ; Jaroš,, Lubomí (referee) ; Starý, Miloš (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with protection against flooding in the basin of a small watercourse Mlýnka. The aim is to get information about runoff in the watershed and the proposal dry reservoir as flood measure. The first part of thesis deals with the survey watershed, getting materials, schematisation watershed, constructing rainfall-runoff process. In the second part is designed dry reservoir. Schematisation has been made using ArcGIS, rainfall-runoff process was done in software HYDROG and drawings have been processed by AutoCAD.
Design of technical water management and anti-erosion solutions for the elimination of flood and erosion damage in the cadastral area of Hlinsko u Přerova
Špaček, Stanislav ; Majkus, Martin (referee) ; Paseka, Stanislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design technical water management and anti-erosion measures in the form of a dry reservoir and dams in the cadastral area of Hlinsko u Přerova. The design of two seepage ditches was also carried out. All designs consist of a text and a drawing part. The text part always contains a general description of the technical measure, as well as its specific location in the area of interest, the necessary hydrotechnical calculations and a description of the proposed technical solution. The drawing part includes the form of the technical measures and, in the case of a dry reservoir, a drawing of the combined functional object and the newly modified flooded area.
Measures to increase the transformation capacity of the Svitava inundation area in the Holásky - Chrlice section
Havran, David ; Roth, Tomáš (referee) ; Zachoval, Zbyněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of using the left inundation area of Svitava river for purposes of transformation of the 100-years flood wave in Svitava. The area of interest is located on the territory of the Holásky and Chrlice city districts. SMS software with a hydraulic two-dimensional simulation model SRH was used to simulate the flow in the current state and variant solutions of the proposed state. Based on the results of the flow in the current state, two variant solutions of the proposed state were designed and simulated. The result of this work is the quantification of the change in the transformation capabilities of the area of interest in both proposed variants and followed by a recommendation.
Design of water reservoir for flood protection
Vláčil, Lukáš ; Holomek, Michal (referee) ; Paseka, Stanislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to map an anti-flooding protection in locality Dobrá Voda near Hořice and to create suitable plan of a water retention reservoir. Retention reservoir works as a system for holding and transformation of flood wave and thus for dealing with floods. First part of this thesis covers general description of issues of floods, current legislature, anti-flooding measures and a description of flood wave transformation. Methods for determination of retention seepage of the reservoir are described in this part as well. Computer programmes (HEC-RAS, Transformwave) were used for the purpose of above mentioned determination. In the second part of this thesis the given locality is described including all the possible risks and plans of convenient anti-flooding measures. The results of appropriate software determinations are compared in this part of the thesis as well. A final plan of a suitable retention reservoir is based on the results of comparison.
Flood control measures in the Salašský potok basin
Stolářová, Alena ; Doležal, Petr (referee) ; Starý, Miloš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the addition of flood protection measures in the Salašský potok basin. Working closely related to the previous bachelor thesis on Flood protection in the Salašský potok basin. Detail deal with left tributary Salašky - Modranský potok -which runs through the town Modrá, to be occupied by 6 small cascade of water reservoirs. The work is divided into two parts. The first part describes the actual parameters of the tanks and their assessment of the possible spill-over and is solved their overall transformational effect in the basin. In the second part of the thesis dealt with the tank as a semi tank in response to N-leté water and searched their design parameters.
Study of possibilities protection of small village against rural zone water
Holý, Jan ; Vrba, Jan (referee) ; Milerski, Rudolf (advisor)
The thesis deals with protection against water from rural areas with a focus on the protection of the village Chrudichromy. The chapters are structured so that outlined the general theory of flood protection and design protection in the cadastral Chrudichromy. The design consists of project protective reservoir.
A study of erosion control system using biotechnical conservation measures
Moravec, Jiří ; Sobotková, Veronika (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The objective of the bachelor thesis was the study of soil erosion control with application of system of semi-natural measures in chosen small catchment. Digital elevation model was generated and average soil loss was determined by ArcGis tools at each erosion parcel . Design of erosion control at chosen erosion risked locality was create in Microstation software and InRoads utilities. As a type of enviromental erossion control mesures was chosen a system of a earthfill dams with the sedimentation area in combination with grassing. The thesis efforts to point the differences between the possible optimal solution and a compromise solution which respects the requirements of agricultural entities. The solution respects the trend of water retention in landscape and use of low cost measures.
Identification of retention volumes in Brno
Man, Radim ; Roth, Tomáš (referee) ; Jandora, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to assess whether it is possible to use a newly planned transverse structures as a polder dam in the area of interest and to connect other flood protection elements. Furthermore, to design and dimension inflow and outflow objects to reduce the flow in the Svratka river as effectively as possible during the culmination of the flood. The last part of the work is devoted to the evaluation of the economic efficiency of the implemented measures. Part of the work are hydrotechnical calculations of the inlet and outlet object, which are performed using the program HEC-RAS and technical drawings of buildings.
Study of flood protection measures in the Kroměříž locality
Skokan, Jiří ; Golík, Pavel (referee) ; Dráb, Aleš (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design and hydraulic assessment of a dry retention reser-voir on the Kotojedka (IDVT 10202906) and Vážanský potok (IDVT 10189772) streams in Kroměříž. The basic designs of the dam parameters and the associated dry retention re-servoir flow control structure were carried out using hydraulic analytical calculations. A 1D hydrodynamic model was built by the author in the HEC-RAS software to assess the flow through this object. In the 1D analysis, some uncertainties could not be resolved, such as the formation and evolution of the hydraulic jump, the effect of the safety spillway and bottom outlet submergence, the capacity of the bottom outlet, the capacity of the apron and the water surface elevation in the apron. It can be assumed that, due to the lower significance of the proposed reservoir, it will not be subjected to research on the phy-sical model. Therefore, a hydraulic analysis with 3D numerical software comes into conside-ration, which in this case can provide results for the hydraulic design or optimisation of the desig-ned object parameters. Using the Flow - 3D hydrodynamic model, hydraulic calculations of water flow through the flow control object were performed. The results were compared with the values determined by the 1D model and analytical calculations. The results were compared in the selected profiles of the dry retention reservoir’s flow control object and the transformation effect of the reservoir.
